1. Find a Foundation That Actually Matches Your Skin

There’s a pretty good chance that you’re wearing a foundation tone that doesn’t match your skin well. Whether it’s too dark, too light or simply the wrong undertones, a mismatched foundation can make even the most impressive makeup look unappealing. If you aren’t sure what color foundation you need, consider going and getting a match done at a cosmetics store. Here are a few tips for selecting the right color.

2. Add Cleansing Oil to Your Routine

Cleansing oil is all the rage right now – and while you may think that if you have acne or oily skin, cleansing oil isn’t for you, the opposite may be true. Many people who have oily skin or acne need to balance their skin’s hydration. While oil-free cleansers can strip your face of natural oils, leaving it susceptible to dryness or overactive oil glands, cleansing oils will gently clean your skin without harming it.

3. Learn to Correctly Exfoliate Your Face

Exfoliation is a great way to remove dry, excess skin from your face. However, it’s easy to overdo it or incorrectly exfoliate, leaving your skin damaged or peeling.
